ClickBell is a local worker marketplace for India. This Privacy Policy explains how ClickBell collects, uses, stores and protects user information when employers and workers use the app or website.
1. Information We Collect
- Name, mobile number and user role.
- Profile photo, live selfie and identity document upload for verification.
- Worker category, sub-category, experience, service area, fees and availability.
- Employer work offer details, location, budget and contact preference.
- GPS/location data when the user grants permission.
- Ratings, reports, notifications and moderation records.
- Device and authentication information required by Firebase, Google and security systems.
2. How We Use Information
- To create and manage user accounts.
- To verify mobile number through Firebase Phone OTP.
- To help employers find nearby workers and workers find matching offers.
- To show profile, ratings, category, location and contact options to relevant users.
- To prevent fraud, fake accounts, abuse, spam and illegal activity.
- To send notifications about offers, matches, ratings and account updates.
- To comply with legal requests and platform policies.
3. Firebase and Google Services
ClickBell uses Firebase services including Authentication, Firestore Database, Storage, Hosting and Cloud Messaging. Firebase may process device, authentication and security data according to Google/Firebase policies.
4. Location Data
Location is used to show nearby workers and relevant work offers. Users can deny location permission and may type a location manually. Location is not used for hidden tracking outside the app purpose.
5. Identity and KYC Data
Identity documents and selfies are collected only for account verification, fraud prevention and safety review. ID documents are not shown publicly on worker cards. Fake documents or false verification attempts may lead to account suspension.
6. Data Sharing
ClickBell does not sell personal data. Public profile information may be visible to other users for marketplace discovery. Phone/WhatsApp contact may be shown for direct communication. Data may be shared if required by law, government authority, fraud investigation or platform safety review.
7. User Responsibility
ClickBell is a discovery and communication marketplace only. Users are responsible for verifying each other, negotiating work, meeting safely and handling offline payments or agreements at their own risk.
8. Data Security
Data is stored using Firebase security rules and access controls. No online platform can guarantee absolute security, but ClickBell applies reasonable measures to protect user data.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Account, KYC, offer, rating and report data may be retained as needed for safety, legal compliance, dispute review and fraud prevention. Users may request account deletion from the app profile section or by contacting support.
10. Children
ClickBell is only for users aged 18 years or above. Child labour, child exploitation or child safety violations are strictly prohibited.
